Which flexplate for my application with big power?
Which flexplate for my application with big power? I have an iron 6.0 with teh stock crank but not sure which crank I have and if I need the spacer or not. It will be bolting to an ATI Treemaster and launching off a trans brake and this motor will eventually end up making right around 1000 FWHP on a boost/nitrous mix in a year or so. I want a flywheel that will hold up to the abuse this motor will dole out. Will the TCI LS1 flywheel be fine, or would it be wise to step it up to the ATI peice for noticably more $?
Also would it be the same aftermarket flywheel weather I need the spacer or not? Different part #s if it requires a spacer or not? Anything special I need to bolt this to the converter I have? I have the ARP bolts for it so I'm assuming those will be long enough?
