Default Reverse Causing Problems ... 4l60E

We just put a 4l60e in a 64 chevy II. It has a lq4 in it with a converted stock harness. Anyhow, we are having problems. When we start the car in park, and pull the shifter into reverse, it kills the pcm fuse almost instantly.

If we start the car in neutral, and pull it into drive. It is flawless. Just do not put it into reverse.

The car has a lokar hotrod shifter with no wires going to the shifter to be grounding. I would like to know what to look for. I am thinking it is inside the transmission.

Anyhelp is appreciated.

There is some issues with the external wiring and the PRESURE MANIFOLD SENOR is causing the short would be my guess

All of the wiring that plugs into the transmission from the pcm is correct to the GM service manuals.

I may need to check some other schematics.

I would because all really happens in reverse is a presure switch in that sensor is turned on so that all that make sense

Got it figured out, the 4l80e has two 12 volt ign powers, the 4l60e has only one. Pin 63 red connector does not need to be a 12volt ign.
