Default 4l80E cooling question

I am installing a 4l80e / ls2 into a 67 chevelle .I used some cooling case fittings to convert from snap lock to 5/16" flare ,thus converting the lines from 3/8" to 5/16" .Will this be a problem cooling the trans ? the car will be used for everyday driving and some power tours .also i have not purchased a rad. yet, should i buy one with a cooler or one without and use one such as a B&M 70274?

Just bought a B&M #:BMM-70274 and mounting kit #:BMM-80278 and installed in front of my AC condenser cooler. far as i know the lines are 5/16 stock. Just make sure the rear cooling fitting in to the tranny has the long spout. See this link for 4l80e fittings. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=4l80e+install
Id buy a radiator without a cooler and get a big cooler like i bought.
I am sure your setup will work fine.

The stock 4L80E cooler lines that screw in are 5/16
The stock 4L80E cooler lines that clip in are 3/8 (10mm)

Make sure the rear fitting has the extension and the front one is the short one.
