WHERE DO U HOOK THE TRANS TEMPGAUGE SENSOR OR SENDING UNIT

On the A4, on the drivers side there is a plug about half way up the transmission above some cables, remove that plug (10MM I believe), and the 1/8 NPT sending unit goes right in. Wrap the threads with plumbers tape. On the M6 there is a similar plug located more to the top of the transmission.

I drilled and tapped my trans pan down low on passenger side of pan about half way back from front--near where you can slip the wire alongside the 02 sensor harness. Most senders are 1/8" pipe thread. I have a TCI plus 2 qt. pan--it's nice and thick to drill and tap. Aluminum w/nice big fins----cools great. WJ.
