Default Tuner or shift kit?

Will a tuner firm up shifts better on my A4? I'm not going to take it to the track, its my daily driver.I just want a good firm shift without spilling your coffee all over yourself..

You can firm them up quite a bit with tuning, but in my opinion a "shift kit" is the right way to do it.

I was thinking that also..I wonder if using the tuner and increasing the pressure could damage something?

Shift kit for sure, increasing line pressure through tunes/tuners is not the way to go!
