Default What are my options?

I have a 00' z28 ms3 cam 4.10 gears, sticky tires and a 250 shot. she went 10.38@131. . . . . . . ONCE.

what are my options as far as tranny's. I looked at the stickies, i really don't want to have to fabricate or re wire anything. I want the car to go well into the 9's without ever having to worry about the tranny again. can we make our trannys that strong or is there a bolt in replacement that is not a million dollars? I do drive it on the street but i have no exhaust and a cage so you can see that my priorities are all business. I don not care about comfort. Just don't want to have to weld or do any other fabercating. is there a bolt in option that is not to expensive?

Well there are a few options of course.

The key is to know your short term and long term goals for the car. A 4L80E is a good alternative to the 60E, if OD is a priority. It sounds like it is not though.

From there my 1st choice would be a Powerglide then a TH400 then a TH350.

If you would like to explore these options give me a shout.
