The SY3500 is no longer made I think due to the limited supply of some of it's components. I have a friend that still has one at his shop. It is the 258mm with the billet hub. It is easy on the drivetrain because it hits softer out of the hole and is a good street converter because it'll hook on street tires better than most TCs made today. It is nothing like the SS series though.
Let me know if you are interested in it and I'll pass it on.

The SY3500 was a killer converter on the street or bracket racing as it allowed the converter to stall up to 3500 on the line for same every time lights, with no wheel spin.
We no longer make the SY3500 model,
if you can find one grab it up!

It's a shame that you didn't have the parts custom made for this when your supplies ran out. This was the best pure street converter I ever drove.
