Rebuilt 4L60E
check engine light came on and had it ran. came up with 1-2 shift solenoid.
Is it as easy as a part needing replaced?

 

Could be that easy.

But, if it has a tall stall speed it could need a tune as well.

Needs to be diagnosed properly, meaning it the solenoid needs to be toggled with a scan tool. Only then can you know it the Drier in the PCM, the harness and the Solenoid are good.

Ratchthed, thanks. My dads buddy is local transmission guy and had him look at it and got everything straightened out. Thanks for help.
