Additives to make it DEX-VI??

Additives to make it DEX-VI?? I took my car to a transmission shop today, Coleman Taylors Transmissions. So i asked the guy if they had dex VI, and he said they have an additive to the tranny fluid Dex VI. no that sounded kind of weird to me. should i stick with good old Dex III or should let him put the additive and make it Dex VI? what u guys think?
Either should work he is talking about ADDING A FRICTION MODIFYER if hes doing the trans I would say its his choice

Honestly not really as far as friction modifiers go .
