Auto or 6 Speed?
No argument there
. I would prefer a 6-speed if that's what I used my car for.True, there are a fair share with problems, but there are just as many that love it and wouldn't have it any other way.
Maybe it's me, and this is part of the reason I'm swapping to M6, I feel that daily driving a stalled auto is a waste. I don't go to the track anymore, and I never get so much as a rev on the street.
Will I lose ET going to an M6? You're damn right I would. But will I enjoy my daily 16 mile 3 stop light commute a lot more with a m6? You're damn right I will.
Get the car for how you will use it, and how you will drive it. This is the real bottom line.
A stalled auto will, mod for mod out ET an M6 car all day long. But, will you really be going to the track so much as to be worth it? My answer for this is no.
Melchoir,
This new (used, actually
) vehicle won't be my daily driver. I have a 2007 Titan Crew for that. This is one of the biggest reasons why I am leaning more towards the M6. I drive an auto on a daily, and the M6 would definitely help to spice up my weekend driving around town or giving a few of these other F-bodies, Stangs, etc some hell on the freeway. Unless I come across a deal this simply canot be passed up, I am pretty certain that I will go with the M6. First thing will be headers, exhaust, CAI, and cam & head swap

I have pretty much made up my mind, but by all means keep this thread going. I really appreciate all the input. One of you may persuade me in a different direction before it's all said and done.

BEFORE - Stock
AFTER - Once the Hotchkis lowering springs and CCW SP500s are mounted. I was so confident that I was buying an F-body that I ordered the CCWs the day before I actually bought the car
