i have a 4l80e on my car which is a 402 ls2 stroker with a single 88mm on 18psi with a 75 shot. im expected to make about 1000rwhp and need a converter that will handle about 1500hp. i bought a hughes 4000 stall converter, doyou think it will last?

If the Hughes unit was spec'd out for your combination you should be fine. Run it and see what happens.

thats one nasty goddam combo you got there man. Since you bought it idk anything about huges but if they say itll last it prolly should. I too would call vig or yank for what you would need to handle that h/p and compare the converters (ie cluthes inside and other **** like that)
