Default AC condenser/ Trans cooler

I posted this in the trans section and put it in here to b/c of the condenser.

This may be a strech but could we use our AC condenser as a Trans cooler? It is pretty good size and fits perfect. I am pretty sure it can handle the pressure. Is it restrictive? How would it compare to other coolers? Thanks.

The AC condenser would be much too restrictive. The small tubes would be too much for the tranny pump to overcome.

True, but pushing that fluid through 40 or 50 rows of tubing is a different story. Bottom line is, just get a tranny cooler. Everyone would be doing it if it was possible.
