Default Converter / Drivability Question

I'm hoping someone can explain a couple of things to me about adding a higher stall converter. I am planning on getting a Vigilante 2800 or 3200 converter shortly, but would like to know what I can expect it to "feel like". I've never had or been in an A4 with one before. I keep hear about "looseness" but cannot honestly say I know what that exactly means. What can I expect the car to feel like when starting from a dead stop in everyday ordinary driving situations? What will the car feel like when it shifts from one gear to the next? Those are the questions I'm hoping to get answers to. One thing I probably should add is that I will install a TransGo shift kit at the same time.
Thanks In Advance!

The best way to describe looseness is giving more gas to get the car moving. It feels sluggish until the you floor it. Normally with the stock stall you give it very little gas and the car moves. With an aftermarket stall you are going to push down on the gas more to get the car moving at the same speed. Your RPM's will be higher and your exhaust note will be louder adding to the "looser feeling". Generally speaking, the bigger the stall the more gas it takes to move the car. Some of the bigger stalls will not even roll forward at idle on flat ground. Go here for some good info. http://www.converter.cc/frequently_asked_questions.htm

Thanks for the reply and for posting the link. It pretty much sums up what I thought the car would feel like but I wasn't 100% sure. Now I know for sure.
Thanks again!
