Default question about shift firmness after fluid change

I changed my fluid and filter in my 4l60e and afterwards it doesn't seem to shift as hard. Is this normal? Usually the car hit second gear pretty hard and chirps the tires. Now it doesn't chirp the tires.I also changed my lower control arms and added the lower control arm relocation brackets at the same time. Could this have caused the change?

When my car was an A4 it definately shifted more firm with the poly LCA's only.
Then I swapped to an M6 and it had bad wheel hop, the relocation brackets turned the violent bang shift to a mild slide sideways when shifting hard.

The lower control arms i installed are the non adjustable BMRs and I also installed the relocation brackets and a non adjustable BMR panhard bar. Maybe thats all it is is its getting better traction. The trans still shifts nice I guess I just changed to many things at once. It definetly plants the wheels better out of the hole.
