just about got my swap done as well.

for stock vs stock ratios. the 1.76 is stronger but heavier. the 1.82 is lighter but weaker.

if its big power, straight cut gears should be something to look into. I have heard that 1.80 is a great ratio.

how much power are you planning on making?

We could help you with this decision. We build quite a few Glides each month for fast cars... have 3 going now.

The whole idea of building one of these is very relative to your budget. I am sure we could put a build together for your needs.

A stock gear set will go a long way. You can spend the extra money on a good gear set, but if you aren't making upwards of 800 hp, it would be a waste of money. 1.76 is what I would go with. Make sure you get a quality custom built converter for your application.
