Automatic question... There is this guy with a auto WS6 trying to tell me that he is in his right in the prime of his power band when he is doing roll races punching it at 70mph in second gear.
Here is his list of mods.
non-smog legal Pace Setter Long Tube headers
SLP off Road Y pipie, 3 inches
No cats
3 inch Y pipe back exhaust pipe into a Borla Exhaust system
SLP Air Lid with smooth bellows
Dyno tun of 352 hp (before lid and bellows)
All the DIY mods
4 speed auto that was rebuilt with a shift kit
Is this even possible? i would think that 70mph would be way to high to drop it into second, (he shifts it down manually)

Actually its quite possible but it would be dependant on his gear ratio , but with 273 gears oh yes. In fact thats the only time that gear set is fun IMO

With 2.73s he's not lying. Heck, MAYBE with 3.23s but it might be a little too high for my personal comfort

My stock 2.73 255/55/16 doesn't shift out of 2 until 94. lol It being a WS-6 car means it has 3.23 gears right? My old WS-6 would not shift out of 2 until about 85ish but I do not think if you floored it in overdrive it down shift to 2 at 70. I can not remeber though. I know it would pull good in 2 at 70.
