Whats wrong with tranny????

I was wondering if there could be a quick fix to my transmission or I would have to replace the whole thing, because today when I floored it the rpm's kept shooting up, and it look like my front end was shaking, but otherwise its good unless when im slow and try to speed up a little faster the tranny starts slipping. Also I just had a vigilante converter installed 6 months ago with about 2k and was wondering if its going to hurt the converter?

sounds like clutches are slipping..just take it easy on it

so do u think i can get away with just replacing the clutches or get the whole thing rebuilt.

Replacing the clutches without going though the whole trans would be a waste of time IMO I would either get it rebuilt or buy a built one.

ok then, what would be a good affordable transmission that could hold 400hp.
