Default torque converter

how often does a tci torque converter go bad. apparantly mine went bad on mine and where the torque converter bolts on to the wheel w/ many teeth.. that cracked around where the bolts bolt onto . so i was just wondering what causes the torque converter to fail and crack the wheel thing?

Wait, so your flywheel cracked? What did you torque the bolts to?

i have no idea. the transmission shop did it. the flywheel was cracked around the bolts. so i was wondering if it was the transmissions shop fault or if it was just from me abusing my car
