ok not sure if this actually is a transmission problem or not but any help would be appreciated. whenever i am on my car full throttle it will shift through to second then third fine however when it gets to switch from 3rd to 4th it wont and just keep red lining until i let off and once i get back on it it will shift. im not sure of whats wrong and if you didn't know it is an A4 and if you needed to know its an 02 camaro ss with coming on to about 70,000 miles now

 

Question is has it ever done the 3-4 shift at WOT in many cars the shift timing is intentionally set in tuning not to allow a WOT 3-4 shift, So the first thing to do is to check for that.

 

yea it has always shifted from 3-4 in WOT but it just recently stopped
