Default Almost stock -- Shift points?

This may be a cliche question -- and if so I appologize.

My car is close to stock .. [3.73 -- Whisper LID/RamAir -- Cutout]..

I'm using HPP3 and my shiftpoints just don't feel right.

What shiftpoints would you guys suggest?

Thanks a lot.

Its kindoff like a trial an error on individual basis. So far with my mods the best for me is (After a few trial runs):
3-3-6 with 6300 rev limiter
1-2 shifts at 6100-6200
2-3 shifts at 6100
3-4 shifts at 6100 6150 or so
Firmness at 50%
In any case your shift points should always be at least 100 less that you rev limit

Hope this help a little

Thanks Sharky. I programmed them in and it works great. Car doesn't hit limiter but stays in each gear as long as it should.

Thanks again.

Its HPP3 talk!
It means I raised my shift points By:
(1-2) by 3mph
(2-3) by 3mph
(3-4) by 6mph

In 1st gear 1mph increases rpm by 150
in 2nd gear 1mph increases rpm by 79
In 3rd I forgot gotta check the manual
but I think it is 50 rpms or so

With our ls1 engines with boltons I would say in the realm od 5800 to 6000 with a stock car with boltons, Like you said trial and error, my car made peak hp at about 5900rpm

dude, how would you compare your hpp3 to the predator. of course, you problably don't have both but for example, has your hpp3 lived up to its claims? im stuck between the predator and the hpp3!

Well I'm going to answer 2 Qustions in one post.
1- Predator is more versatile than Hpp3. But if I had to do it again I would go with LS1 Edit.

2- 50% because that increases line pressure in the tranny via the pump. More stress on the pump which is not the strongest in 4L60E's. More pressure is good for the clutches but potential problem for planetaries. I run 100% only at the track (Trying to be merciful)
Track settings 3-5-9 REV limit 6500 rpm Firmness 100%
