Converter issues

Converter issues I was talking to some ***** tonight and he had an LS1 powered Camaro also. He said that I SHOULD NOT get a converter and it will SLOW me down????? He said I would have to pay MTI $500 to pay for the torque managment to be deleted. Other than torque managment, what else would i have to get done to make sure the converter was running good and my car not to be slow? I want to get the Vig. 3200 in the near future.thanx.

Re: Converter issues Get a converter and then proceed to smoke his ***. T/M is not an issue with 98s. You will need sticky tires, drag radials or ET Streets to take full advantage of your new found power and speed.

Re: Converter issues hes just afraid your gonna kick his *** if you get a converter. get one and flash him your hazards as you fly past. do a little looking around on here or call up a converter company before you buy one though. we(or they) can help you decide what is the right one for your application.
