PLEASE help with Yank Converter install
PLEASE help with Yank Converter install I am trying to fully seat the converter into my new 4L80e transmission and i am getting the 3 clicks but not the 1.030" of bellhousing to conv feet...I'm about 1/4" shy. I know the converter is good as I am borrowing MIGHTYMOUSE's for the time being and he was running it in his typhoon with a 4L80e.
The only thing i can find in my searches is that the pump gear may be backwards but i can't find a picture of what it is supposed to look like or if that is something i can do here in my garage or do I need a special tool to recenter the pump?
I am trying to make a car show this friday/sat so that's why all the panic. Thanks for any help.

Nevermind....MM and I figured it out...the pump gear was indeed backwards....pulled everything out, flipped it and put it all back together....converter slid right in like it's supposed to.
