switching from 4l60e to th350
If I'm correct I need a long tail shaft 350 to make it work with the driveshaft,then what about the torque arm?
sorry for all the questions I've been through 3 4l60e's in less than 2 month I'm sick of it.
If u are shooting too much NOS, your stock TC will go and super overheat your tranny.
Why loose the 4 gears. 4L60E's are not THAT flimsy. Who is rebuilding your tranny?
Go to a proper tranny Co. do it right and install a transcooler and a good TC like yank YP3600E.
Spray only 100 shot and your tranny will last much longer.
I have friends that have over 300 passes on a built 4L60E.
If you spray more than 100 you have to mod your valvetrain anyway otherwise heads will go too.

I got two half *** passes out of this trans in less than three days on the street.All my problems strated when I rim screwed the wheels...hooks way to hard.I dont want to sacrafice the 4th gear but I do a lot of street racing in this car and dont feel like tearing it down a few times a month.Also who makes a torque arm for the th350 converstion?

You will need to fabricate a tranny mount.
