Default price for rebuild?

I called the local tranny guy, who specializes in the 4l60e, and he told me $875 for the rebuild. Is this a good price? either way im probably going to do it anyway. I would just like to know.

Ask him for a written list of what he is putting in it. What kind of power will it hold. For a well built unit, you can spend that much and more on just parts.
