just trowing the idea up in the air but has anyone have any luck with putting a 200r4 in a fourth gen? i admire a lot of the mid 80's G body hurst cutlass with the lightning rods. i may to hook up the shifter to my 4l60 or if i can find a 200r4 that can hold up to 500hp then ill to a tranny swap. its just an idea let me know what you guys think

We can build you a 4L60E that will hold 500hp easy, On the other hand we have done many 2004R conversions with great results. One of our fully built 2004R's can hold a 1000hp, We've had a couple of full weight F-Bodys running in the 10.xx to 9.50 range and have no problems.
