Default converter upgrade

i have doing some reading about converters lately, and i am thinking about changing out my ST3500. it has been running alright, but i have been hearing alot of good things about the SS series especially the SS3800 and SS3600. i have also been looking at the vigilante 3200. i was just wondering if yall thought that it would be worth swapping out the converter for one of these. the car is a daily driver and it sees ocassional track time. i have a TR 224 cam with a 114 lsa, ls6 intake, hooker headers/y-pipe, and a cat back. any informaation that yall could give me would be greatly appreciated

what are your goals in switching? Performance wise, the Vig 3200 & ST 3500 are too close to bother switching. The SS4000 would be a wothwhile upgrade if you have decent traction.

i have heard that the SS series and the Vigilante series were both tighter and performed better at the track. i do want the performance, but i drive this car everyday, so the increased tightness is very important as well.

The SS3800 is a bit tighter and may perform a little better than ST 3500 with good traction, but I would not expect more than .1 gain depending on how you are running now. I've plenty of people with low 1.6s from the ST 3500 on nittos.
