Yank Converter Users Fash Stall or Brake Stall??
You guys running Yank Converters do you get the best ETs when you brake stall your car as much as possible. Or when you let your converter flash from idle or just above idle speed. BTW I am running ET streets.

Depends on the converter. The Pro Thrusters and Super Yanks like you to get as much rpm as possible in the staging beams. The Super Thrusters and Super Stock converters hit a little harder off the line and work well by brake torquing and by flash stalling (from idle). When I was running a ST3500, I had best ET and consistency by loading up the converter on the line.

Hey Mitch!
With my SY3500 I get my best results from brake stalling it as high as possible. With the stock converter my best times were by flashing it from idle.

YTP 4200 I bring to 2500 and hammer it.

My Yank stuff worked best with as many rpms as I could hold with the footbrake and my Vigilante just like a few hundos over idle.
