Default 4L80E Inlet/Outlet Question

Im just hookin up my trans cooler and was not 100% Sure which was inlet/outlet, as far as i know the rear is the inlet and front is the outlet, can somebody confirm this for me? Thanks

I am pretty sure the rear is the return back to the tranny.
Check with others.

That's what I'm thinking mine was too.
Rear = fluid in
Front = fluid out

Yes front is fluid out to the cooler, I have my temp sending unit there.

Yes, the rear fitting had the long "tube" that stuck inside the transmission so the fluid dropped in a specific spot.

pull one and turn the motor over. its a messy way to find out but it works.
