Default Code PO756?

Car not shifting into third, acts like its bouncing off the rev limiter, just had the car tuned. What does code PO756 mean? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks George

P0756
Shift Solenoid B Performance or Stuck Off/
2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance

This could happen because the solenoid is bad or it can also happen if the 3-4 clutch is bad . Another possible reason is with a high stall over 3000 normally the PCM becomes confused and does not thing the shift has actually taken place.

Thanks Performabuilt, great article. The car has a 3800 Vigilante stall, I put H/C package on this winter. The car ran fine after H/C package, car shifted fine. After I took it to get it tuned thats when the 2-3 shift started acting up. My tuner thinks its the 2-3 shift solenoid. I am thinking about replacing the solenoid myself. What all is involved, after I pull the pan can I see the solenoid? Thanks Again George

Its realy simple there are thee side by side A and B the have clips holding them in , One will feel like its just loose kinda floppy this is the B solenoid The A solenoid will have some spring presure behind it, Generally I suggest changing them as a pair
