Default Will i need to break it in?

Just got my converter re-done from TCI...I guess some valve went bad inside the converter that helps hold pressure. Question is, will i be able beat the **** outta it when i get it back or will i have to do a break in? I havent driven the car in over a month and i need to feel some power. The 94 Maxima isnt cutting it
