Fluid was about 1 qt low! did I hurt anything? it was only like that for 6 days since I had a stall put in. it was barely touching the bottom of the stick while running after warming up.

there is a possibility that damage could be done. When we first installed a new converter not too long ago we took it out on the road and it would not shift at all. Called up the manufacture and he said there could be air it there. Put the rear wheels on jack stands and ran it through the gears a few times checking fluid. Got it back down on the ground, drove it around and it was fine after that.
When you pull out your dip stick do you see any bubbles in it? The sooner you catch something like this the better.
