I've been reading up on it, and have seen done on a few GTO's but never on our cars. I'm still considering it.

They are good units and take a ton of abuse. I have never personally seen one installed in a fbody but I'm sure anything can be done with the right amount of money.

gm hightech did an install on an f-body with one. Dont really think the performance 1/4 mile changed much but it did lower the rpm at cruising speed which in turn got better gas milage. Might be worth it just on the price of gas these days. I was actually trying to figure out how long it would take to pay off on the gas savings but have no idea what kind of milage increse it would net.. My best guess would be 2-4mpg increse this is based on the fact that there are f-bods with 2.73 gears netting 28-29mpg. I got 3.23's and typically get 26mpg
