vss problem i have the gm performance ls3 with the gm perf harness/ecm installed in a 67 camaro. my issue is the new gm harness is pinned for the later model speed sensor(small) and my built trans has the early(big) sensor. My trans guy says the sensors are the same? is the output signal the same? the output shaft with reluctor is the same in the trans for the two. is it just a wiring connector issue or am do i have a bigger problem?
Its just a wiring connector issue swap the pigtail

thanks. i was almost certain it was just a wiring connector issue due to the trans output shaft being the same. you rock. i feel much better. i will try to find the gm connectors to make a pigtail to not modify my gm perf harness. is that possible?
You can just splice the correct one in
