Default trans leak please help!

I bought my car last Oct. When I bought it was about half a qt low on trans fluid. The other day it seemed a little low, so I put about half a qt. in. Ever since then the Trans has been leaking fluid from the bell housing. I checked the fluid level today and it seems to be at level even though it has been leaking. My questions is, if I had put too much fluid in the trans, does it spill out of some kind overfill valve or something. Because the leaking has slowed down and it is at full level. I am checking the trans after drive it about 5 miles and the car is running. Any help please!

i dont think it does overfill valve but i could be wrong...the leaking is probably a bad front pump seal

sure will it will screw with the seals

there is an vent on the top of the transmission, from the factory it had a rubber tube leading off of it. check that, 1 quart over filled usually wont hurt or make a tranny puke some up. unless you cracked the bellhousing there are really only a handful of leak spots:
pan, lines, dipstick tube, front n rear seals, vent tube, electrical input.
hmm i think thats it off the top of my head
