New Tranny Problem
New Tranny Problem got a new tranny installed and it shifts fine except under wide open throttle
it kinda seems like the rpms get stuck and quit rising at about 5000-5500rpm and the tranny wont shift, any ideas

Yes sounds like your hitting rev limiter likely need some tuning and you will be good.

UPDATE,when you floor it it hangs at about 5000 rpm almost like it isnt getting enough fuel to the motor,if you back out of the throttle a little the rpm's will climb a little more and then make the shift

It sounds like either the shift is commanded to close to the limiter or theres some engine running issue , I would think the limiter would be higher than 5000 rpm though. I think its more likely your dealing with and engine running issue or a tuning issue , But it just hanging at 5000 sounds like the engine is for whatever reason not reaching the RPM needed to make the shift at WOT. Possible restricted fuel filter maybe?
And did you install a different stall speed converter from previous and if so have you had the car tuned for it?
