What r the differences (if any) between the f-body 4L60E and the truck
4L60E? I can get a good deal on a f-body tranny with converter (BTE) and i was wondering if it would bolt up in my truck(00 Silverado 2wd 5.3l)! Thanks n advance!!!

You will need to change the shifter linkage rod but other than that its a swap

the tailshaft housing but your putting it in to a truck so it wont matter if it has 3 holes in it for the f-body torque arm

K guys thanks for ur help! I was makn sure the input/output shafts were the same, that was the only thing i was ify about.

i think you MIGHT have change the flywheel if your putting the stall from a f-body on. I think? im not posative. i swapped mine out for an LS1, but i did mine cause mine was slightly bent.
