Transmission Gauge Fluctuating?

Transmission Gauge Fluctuating? Its never done this before....the gauge will fluctuate when you accelerate/decelerate and change from a range from 100ish too 150ish....
Granted...I wasn't driving very far(which would explain the low temps)....but its never done the fluctuation before.
Its a TH400 with a 3400 fuddle stall, any input would be appreciated.
