Tranny is installed. - Pics-

Pics of the trans temp gauge installed.

Cruising around town today in 86 degree weather with 56% humidity the transmission temp stayed around 190.
Open road driving was around 170-75.
At what temperature do I have to start worrying about finding an open road or shutting it down? I was assuming around 230 degrees.

Can the converter or transmission cause the vibration? The only thing that has changed between the first and second install was the transmission and converter.
At least I've got no leaks now.
I am going to check the tire balance.

I think the vibration that I am getting is from the poly trany mount. At first I thought it was converter related but the we unbolted the converter from the flex plate and ran the motor at the RPM's that the vibration/harmonics was happening at and it still happened just a little less.
I can't find a rubber trany mount for less then $90. Talk about being robbed.

The tranny seems to shift nice and firm without hesitation. I'm still getting use to the converter slippage, that's going to take a bit.
I won't totally sign off on this as a successful swap until I have some more miles on it and nothing acts up. Right now the new setup only has 150 miles on it.
