So by just splicing the two wires together it makes your "neutral safety switch" but will start in any gear?

Will this have any adverse affects on tuning that I'm not aware of?

I don't know if its because I have a 98 or what, but my wire colors are as follows: dark green, purple with white stripe, light green, brown, orange with black stripe, and black with white stripe.

What about an LT1 setup. the wires are different in my buddies 94 firebird. he has blk/orange, lt grn, lt brown, big yellow, big brown, and blk/wht. We hooked up the blk/org with blk/wht and hooked up big yellow with big brown and still no spark. thanks
