Default 4l60e rebuild

Does this look like a good complete kit for my 94 4l60e to be able to handle 425 hp/ 450 tq?

Includes
AHP35004R-K - ALTO HP Master Kit, w/ Red Eagle Friction & Kolene Steels
N74020CK - Alto HP Carbon Power Band
74010E - Wide filter 1993-97
74030E - Complete bushing kit w/ TEFLON pump bushing
A74905BK - Corvette servo
74507TEK - Boost Valve & Sleeve, Hi-Perf .500 Dia.
74089 - Ft. Seal Retainer

Also, which of these kits should I go with for an "imporved shift"?

Performance / heavy duty kit, TransGo #4L60E-HD2
Automatic shift: Competition, off road and heavy duty
From Transgo: Crisp muscle car or full race shifts. Puts the driver in command. Holds 1st, 2nd, 3rd to any speed. Backshifts to 3rd, 2nd & 1st by moving the lever.. 1998 up: If vehicle has Torque Management this kit will not make hard shifts.

Or

TransGo # SK 4L60E Shift improvement / correction kit Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: No lock-up or 4th and code 1870. Cutloose & bang from reverse to drive; forward and low/reverse clutch burnup. 1-2 bump; double bump; slide-bump; delayed reverse engagement hot. Includes new design PWM boost valve. Also corrects worn valve body, rough shifts and blinking light. No special tools needed

Has anyone used the kit from TCI successfully? Would that kit suffice?

Thanks.

You already have a vette servo if you have an fbody so you can take that off the list. I like the borg warner high energy clutches myself over anything. I dont care for teflon pump bushings at all. Go with the .490 boost valve from sonnax with the o-rings on it. You also need a transgo pump slide spring and hardened pump rings. Those bushings are going to be hard for you to install without one of the bushing driver kits which are $$$. On the upside I usually use the bushings to help resize the teflon input shaft seals. Get a wide high energy band, not kevlar for street use.

I would also suggest a move to pinless accumulator pistons. If you can afford it and have got the wide band with reenforced anchor on it I would look at stepping up to some of the large billet 2 and 4 servos. The hd2 kit will work fine for you unless you were having trouble with lockup and then you need the other kit.

I would also buy some servo screens as they have a tendency to crack. While you're in there replace the input sprag with a dual cage borg warner unit, and put in a new low roller clutch. Get a beast sunshell too.

I never usually buy a complete kit, I always end up piecing together what I want. That list of changes should get you in pretty good shape though.

Oh and take the caged check ball out at the rear of the case under the valve body seperator plate. It'll help drain reverse. If you're planning on running a 9" converter take the little check ball out of the end of the input shaft and the star shaped retainer it will help lockup live with the smaller lockup clutch.\

There are some hydralic mods that need to be done though also the shift kit will take care of most of it, and throw the load release springs in the 3-4 pack away unless you're going to run very high rpm. Then you need to spend the money for the transgo springs that are set up for aftermarket clutch packs.
