Default Too much converter???

I purchased a TCI Comp4400 converter earlier in the year. I ordered it when I was cam only. Since I have put a stroker in it with StageII heads and a big cam (236/240). I can't watch the tach because it launches so hard I am afraid to take my eyes off the road plus I don't feel mytach is very accurate. Anyway, Should I have sent it back to get restalled or reset up for the new configuration. Am I giving up any ET with it setup the way it is?

To find its true stall, use ATAP and log only rpm and mph on a clean pass.

If its stalling over 4400 then, you probably have too much stall. With a stroker, you probably want to stay between 4000 and 4400 rpm. A locked dyno graph is the best to see your torque curve and optimise the converter selection.
