Ok, well I have been babying the car, and just driving it back in forth from work, and highway trips(only car I have). Have been very busy. So, I checked the fly wheel and nothing wrong there. My motor shakes bunches when puting it into gear. Guessing trans mounts. Gots wait till pay day to get em. Another idea, could a vacum leak cause this? Making the trans kind of shift hard, and make things "clunk" changing gears? Newbie question, sorry.

OK!!!! Bringing this thread back!!!

Got it fixed tonight. After changing the U-joints, the trans mount, the torque arm mount, the motor mounts, it ended up being the drive shaft...I felt stupid when I finally changed it.

Apparently I through a weight, and when I changed the ujoints I didn't notice. I don't think it was bent then, just a missing wieght.

I guess when I put the new ES trans mount in(which does not vibrate at all anymore!!) and kept driving it(babying it for the past 2 months!) it bent and bent the drive shaft and made the clunk unbearable. I am very surprised that it did not split. Bought a drive shaft from a 60k mile T/A with good u-joints for 80 bucks, put it in, and (sigh) no more vibrating or clunking. Best 80 bux ever spent in my opion.

I would like to thank everyone in the thread that for their no it all, and a special thanks to Gilbert at ACE for helping me find the problem.(on the phone)

Is there anything I can do with shaft now or is it trashed? Junk now? What can I do with it?
