I had somewhere in the ballpark of $3k... but i did a Neal Chance converter, Meziere one piece billet flexplate, BMR Trak pak, and TH400... I also did AN fittings with tranny cooler so that adds a little here and there... It can be done cheaper though.. After thinking about it I probably was a little over $3k but it's worth it and is able to hook a lot better... gonna pull it out and do a new valve body from JW with a T-brake and a Stef's tranny pan... also I already put a JW bellhousing which was around $250.. Jeez I had more in it than I thought.. =(

 

how much should i plan on spending on a good turbo 400????

 

I was into mine for $3000-$3500, can't remember exactly. Trans was $2k shipped from Rossler setup for street (rmvb, 2nd gear intermediate band in tact, speedo, t-brake, deep pan). It's only rated for 1100 TQ though and I'm not even close to it LOL. I have a few thousand street miles and over 200 passes on it now. Only thing I've had to do is change the fluid and filter Sold the T56 setup for $1300ish to recoupe cost.
