Ok I know this is not an ls1 based question but I know there are some excellent tranny guys on this board cause you guys have helped with non ls1 ?? before.

I have an 01 chevy 2500hd 4x4 I just rebuilt the transfercase due to a hole in the housing where the oilpump rides. after gettigng it all back together the tranny shifts fine until the temp gets up and then it sets codes and acts all goofy, It may hang in low or it may take off in 3rd, and it shifts hard when it does shift. It does not give any trouble at all until the mil comes on then it acts like me when my wife ask me for help around the the house.

here are the codes
1. 0700 transmission control system malfunction
2. 1711 tran. temp sensor out of self test range
3. 1723 not in my book
4. 1721 not in my book
5. 1711
6. 0700
