Pumps going out on 4L60Es My car just took out another tranny pump on my FLP tranny. What the hell could make a tranny pump stop working. We thought it was because i had HPP3 set up but i took it out and it still blew the pump. Anyone else have this problem. It is an FLP IV tranny with a YTP 4400 converter. If anyone else has had this problem with their tranny help me out i am just wondering what it could be.

If you install the trans yourself make sure the spaced in between the converter and flywheel (before you bolt up the converter) is about 1/16" to 1/8". If the "pull back" for the converter is not with in this range then it could damage pump.
