Default wondering if this is how its suppose to be

I had my transmission rebuilt after i felt it slipping, I also added a 3600 stall with lock up, reybestos blue plate special clutch kit and a TransGo Hi-Performance Stage 2 shift kit and a tranny cooler.

The car is running good and the shifts are firm and it chirps second, but the down shift makes the whole car jolt, and the first to second shift is hard but dosent make the car jolt as much as the down shift. at certain speed I tap the break and when i let off it jolts hard. I do not know anything about transmissions so is this normal with these additions, it also jolts much much harder when I go from N to D then before. Should the downshift be hard, like enough to move your head a bit and feel it in your back. Is there any mount I can upgrade to absorb the force if this is normal.

It also has not been tuned yet

It would depend on how the shift kit was set up and what your line pressure actually is some degree of this is likely normal the jolt jerk when you just tap the brake cuising is likely the converter locking and unlocking . Not knowing how the shift kit is set up or if there have been any tuning ajustements to pressure.First if it was me I would make sure the line pressure is set to factory in the tuning and that the max line does not exceed 230 psi at the pressure port with the trans harness unplugged which will give max line.
