6.0 with 4l80e questions
6.0 with 4l80e questions I am going to be swapping out my camaros ls1 for a 6.0 iron block. My questions is, sense alot of the 6.0 motors use a 4l80e in the truck can I just buy the motor/trans and swap it right into my f body? Obviously I will need a 4l80e trans mount. but besides that and some wiring and tuning it should be pretty much good to go right? or is it not that easy.
New cross member, slip yoke and a big ******* hammer. We beat the **** out of the underside of my car to fit that big bell housing in there.
BTW if you want to save yourself a headache and have more fun with an automatic than you ever thought you could, go with full manual valve bodies. We only had to wire up like the speedo and tach. Full manual 4L80e shifts faster than anything I have ever driven
