Default Help!! Somthing is wrong with my A4!

Ok i just got my rear end put together from braking it a couple of days ago and now when i put my car into Overdrive or Drive it doesn nothing, goes no where, but it i start out in first gear and shift into second then go to drive it works and so does overdrive,,, anyone that can help me out with some info on this would be great

You broke the forward sprag. It is common for it to break if the rear goes. You were under heavy acceleration when the rear broke. Right? The forward sprag does not like to unload all at once. You will have to pull the trans to fix it.

how much does this cost? and is there any write-up on how to fix it on the net? or will i be better off paying a trans shop to fix it?

About $30-$40, shop unless you are confide in your mechanical skills, I do not know.
