My 4L60E in my 2000 C5 needs a rebuild.I have found a couple of 4L60Es that are rebuilt but came out of a truck and a Camaro.Are the parts interchangeable so that I could just have everything switched over to my case?Any special years/vehicles that will not work?

as far as i know the only difference may be the input and output shaft or tailshaft housing.

 

Aren't C5 vettes tranny on the Rear Differential?

 

yes, but as far as i know most if not all the guts are the same, except for input/output shaft and bellhousing/tailshaft.
