Default Does a stock torque converter have lockup?

Me and two of my friends are debating this how does the lock up work?

yes, the stock converter is a lock-up converter in 4th gen f-bodies. There is a clutch in the stock converter that locks the pump and impeller together.
there is a TCC solenoid that handles lock-up. I believe its around 50mph in 4th (OD) and around 35 mph in 3rd (D).


or some **** like that.

nah i dont think thats correct. pretty sure it'll only lock up in OD, or in 3rd if the selector is in D (3).
